Key concepts
The handful of things Asklet is built from, and how they fit together.
Organisation
Your company or team. It holds the plan, the billing and the team members, and contains one or more workspaces. Plan limits are counted across all of its workspaces.
Workspace
A separate area with its own websites, surveys and results. Use one per brand, client or product. Switch between them from the menu at the top of the sidebar.
Website
A site you collect feedback on. It has a root domain, an optional list of extra subdomains where the widget may appear, a default survey and the widget's look (Appearance).
Snippet
One small <iframe> per website. You paste it once and it works on every page, because it matches the reader's page by its path.
Page
An address, or a pattern of addresses like /blog/*, that you want to treat on its own: its own results, and optionally its own survey, theme or widget title. Pages are optional. Without any, the website shows its default survey everywhere.
Survey and question bank
A survey is the short list of questions the widget asks, one at a time. Questions come from the question bank, so the same question can be reused across surveys and its results compared.
Theme
A label that groups pages by topic, such as Economy or Recipes, so you can compare results across topics.
Test mode and live
New pages start in test mode: the widget works, shows a small Test mode label, and answers aren't counted. Switch a page to Live when you're ready.
