Install the widget on your site

Copy one snippet, paste it once, and every page gets the right survey.

Step 1:Copy the snippet

Open the website and click Copy website snippet at the top. Copy the code it shows. It looks like this:

<iframe src="https://asklet.io/embed/s/…" title="Article feedback" width="100%" height="480" loading="lazy" referrerpolicy="unsafe-url" style="border:0"></iframe>

Step 2:Paste it once, in a shared template

Put the snippet in the template every article uses, at the point where the widget should appear. Usually that is right after the article body. You only paste it once: it finds out which page the reader is on and shows the survey that page should get.

No template access? Paste it into a single page through your editor's HTML or embed block to start with.

Step 3:Leave room for it

The widget is 480 pixels tall and can't resize itself, so the space you give the iframe is what readers see. Keep width="100%" so it fits narrow screens.

Step 4:Keep the snippet as it is

Don't remove referrerpolicy="unsafe-url". It is how the widget learns the page address, so it can pick the right page and survey. Without it, every reader gets the website's default survey.

Step 5:Check it on a live page

Open a published page of your site and look for the widget. If it is blank, check that the domain in the address bar is the root domain or one of the subdomains listed in the website's Settings.

Common questions

Do I need a different snippet for each page?

No. One snippet per website works on every page. To give a page its own survey, add it in the Pages tab; the snippet stays the same.

Does it slow my pages down?

The snippet is a single lazy-loaded iframe, so the browser only loads it when the reader scrolls near it.

The widget shows a blank box. What should I check?

First, the domain: the page's host must be the root domain or exactly one of the listed subdomains, including www. Second, the website's status in Settings and the default survey: it must be active.
