Refund Policy
Last updated October 12, 2026
This policy explains when you can get a refund for a paid Asklet subscription. In short: if Asklet is not right for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full.
1. Try before you pay
Asklet has a Free plan with no card required, so you can set up a website and a survey and see the widget working before you choose a paid plan.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, you can request a full refund within 14 days of the first payment for that subscription. This applies to monthly and annual plans. No reason is required.
When the refund is issued, the subscription is cancelled and your organisation returns to the Free plan. Your websites, surveys and responses are kept, but limits of the Free plan apply.
3. Renewals
- Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. Renewal payments are generally not refundable.
- If you forgot to cancel an annual plan, contact us within 14 days of the renewal date and we will refund the renewal in full, provided the plan has not been used materially since it renewed.
- We do not refund partial periods. When you cancel, you keep access to the paid plan until the end of the period you have paid for.
4. Upgrades and downgrades
When you change plans in the middle of a billing period, Paddle prorates the difference: an upgrade is charged for the remainder of the period, and a downgrade is credited towards your future payments rather than refunded.
5. Other cases
- Duplicate or mistaken charges, and charges after a cancellation that we failed to process, are always refunded in full.
- If Asklet is unavailable for an extended period because of a fault on our side, contact us and we will consider a full or partial refund.
- We may refuse a refund where there is evidence of fraud, abuse of this policy (for example repeated purchase and refund) or a breach of our Terms of Service.
6. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable consumer law, including the right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU and UK. Where the law gives you more than this policy, the law applies.
7. How to request a refund
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and processes refunds. To request one, email hello@asklet.io from the address of your organisation's owner, or reply to your Paddle receipt or use paddle.net. Include the email used at checkout and, if you have it, the order number.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank or card provider.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes apply to payments made after the updated policy is published and never reduce a refund you were already entitled to.
