Feedback without cookies, tracking or sign-in

Readers answer anonymously. Asklet sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses and doesn't fingerprint anyone, so the widget doesn't need a consent banner.

The reader widget with a dark orange header that says "Quick question - Takes 10 seconds", asking "Was this article useful?" with Yes and No buttons.

What you can do

Nothing to consent to

The widget sets no cookies and uses no identifiers, so there's nothing to add to your cookie banner.

Anonymous answers

An answer is stored with the page and path it was given on, and nothing that identifies the reader: no IP address, no user agent and no reader id.

How to collect anonymous feedback

Personal data scrubbed from comments

If someone types an email address or phone number into a comment, it is replaced with [removed] before it is saved.

Spam protection without tracking

Each widget load gets a single-use token, and the number of new answers from one network is capped. The network address is only used for that count, as an hourly keyed hash, and is never stored with an answer.

Only on your domains

The widget can only be framed on the domains you list for the website, so nobody else can embed your survey.

GDPR by default

Answers are collected without personal data, which keeps your feedback programme simple to explain in your privacy policy.

Common questions

Do I need to mention the widget in my cookie banner?

No. The widget sets no cookies and stores nothing in the reader's browser to identify them.

Can I find out who left a comment?

No. Answers are anonymous by design. If you need to follow up with someone, ask them to contact you in the comment.

Where can I read the details?

The privacy policy explains what is collected and why, including how the per-network answer cap works.
